Ms. Rachel Showed Loving All Children Was The Problem All Along

Since the most recent wars in Ukraine and Russia, Isreal and Gaza and now Iran to suspicious deaths in our community, many who have prominent platforms have been speaking out on how these tragedies can affect the most vulnerable among us and that it is our right to not agree with any kind of force that is detrimental to the well being of our neighbor. That at surface level seems logical, but many conservatives don’t like that kind of talk because it is opposite of their agenda, which is to kill and destroy at any cost. This was made clear this past week when Rachel Accurso better known as “Ms. Rachel” on public platforms such as YouTube who specializes in having children grow up in a healthy environment, was caught in a fiery aftermath of what seemed to be sensible messages she released about Nolan Wells, the 18-year-old who died suspiciously in Mississippi on a small island July 4^th weekend. Ms. Rachel, 43, was basically advocating for the Wells’ family and stating facts that yes, race has something to do with the lack -luster eagerness to get any accountability and if the roles were reversed there would have been emerging details daily. Well, like clockwork the racist didn’t like that too much and began to “cancel” the successful wife and mom. What Ms. Rachel, however, did not do was back down and continued to let anyone who had a problem with what she believed, to go and stump their big toe, well maybe not like that but you get the point.  But there lies the problem. When someone of the majority race who is not afraid to speak truth about how society treats marginalized groups of people, gets the treatment that said group faces every day. The lie that we are one melting pot is a myth. She and many like her now see firsthand what it feels like to be ostracized simply for stating the truth. When you truly think about the length’s racist will go to shoot themselves in the foot and prove your point should be studied. Whether it’s Wells or any or any young man, black children should come home the same way they left.  People (black specifically) are tired of having to hear about literal children being killed suspiciously and it is automatically deemed self-inflicted or accidental simply because it “looks” like it. The lack of urgency resonates far too often when it comes to us. No one cares and that’s the problem. We are tired of talking about it just like you are tired of hearing about it. The truth is when others like Ms. Rachel says something that makes sense, you’re made because she wouldn’t stay on “code”.  She gave a damn, and it pissed racist off. Good Job Ms. Rachel. I pray for mental peace, and love surround you and that you continue to use your light for good in a world that is built to divide.
